Aetna
MaineHealth Aetna
Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield
Maine Community Health Options
Optum
UnitedHealth

If your insurance isn't listed, it's worth checking whether your plan includes out-of-network benefits. Even if we aren't directly credentialed with your insurer, you may still be reimbursed for a portion of the cost with OON benefits. We can provide a superbill, a detailed receipt, that you submit directly to your insurance company to request reimbursement.
**It is helpful to know your outpatient mental health benefits prior to your first session.
Please note that insurance requires a mental health diagnosis. Your medical records can have an impact on future life insurance policies.

When a therapy practice joins an insurance network, they agree to accept a negotiated rate called a contracted rate that is often lower than their standard fee. The rate listed on our website reflects our full fee. The contracted rate is what your insurance has agreed to pay on your behalf.
What you actually owe out of pocket depends on your specific plan — including your deductible, copay, or coinsurance. For example, if our contracted rate with your insurer is $114 and you have a $30 copay, your insurance covers the remaining $84. We never bill you more than the contracted rate your insurer has set.
If you're unsure what your plan covers, we recommend calling the member services number on the back of your insurance card and asking specifically about outpatient mental health benefits.
-
We require a card on file for all clients as a standard part of our intake process — even if your insurance covers your sessions in full. Insurance coverage can change, claims can be denied, and balances and credits from deductibles or coinsurance sometimes appear after the fact. Having a card on file protects both you and us from surprise billing situations and allows us to process any remaining balance or credits promptly if one arises. Your card is never charged without notice.
-
Intake assessment: $180 – $185
60-minute session: $150 – $155
45-minute session: $130 – $135
Court-ordered evaluation: $349 – $449
Rates vary by clinician based on experience and licensure level. If you are using insurance, your out-of-pocket cost will be determined by your plan's contracted rate, copay, deductible, or coinsurance.
