Couples Therapy
south portland, online in Maine
Relationships are where some of our deepest wounds and greatest healing happen.
Our couples and family therapy is relational, our therapists don't take sides, they work with the relationship itself: the patterns, the communication, the stories you hold about yourselves and each other. We don't come in with a predetermined view of where your relationship should end up. Our role is to help you explore honestly and move toward the goals you identify together.
Couples therapy at Heart Stone is offered on a private pay basis and is not billed to insurance.
Session Options:
55-minute session
90-minute session
We find 90-minute sessions offer the most effective framework for couples work, relationships are complex, and the extra time allows for deeper exploration and more complete conversations. 55-minute sessions remain available as a more accessible option.

Davin Kennedy- Clinical Intern
Davin brings an Internal Family Systems lens to relational work, viewing symptoms and defenses as adaptive attempts to protect from pain, and believes all parts of a person, even the ones they fear or feel ashamed of, are welcome in the room. She's especially attentive to attachment styles and the patterns of connection and disconnection between people, helping couples and families move underneath reactivity toward more vulnerable expression. Davin also works with families.
