overview

Ethical conversations are often the most difficult conversations—where values, goals, and identities collide. This highly practical workshop shows clinicians how to move those moments from “difficult” to learning conversations using a structured approach.

Through Reamer’s ethical decision-making model and the “Three Conversations” framework (what happened, feelings/identity, and learning), participants will strengthen their ability to identify, discuss, and resolve ethical issues with clarity and confidence.

You’ll apply the models to real-world scenarios including boundary crossings/violations, dual relationships, supervisor–supervisee ethics, organizational dilemmas, and how to surface feelings and identity concerns within clinical decision-making.
