Something for your May. A little art-making. A lot of good feels.
Small Stories is a free, ongoing community art project designed and facilitated by clinical intern Caitlin Scholl — and open to anyone who walks through our doors.
Three Friday afternoons in May, The Burrow, our downstairs workshop space, will be set up with a simple, beautiful art-making invitation. You don't need to be an artist. You don't need a lot of time. You just need to show up.
Clients, clinicians, and friends of Heart Stone are welcome to drop in, make something small, and contribute to a growing communal art installation that will live in the shared spaces of our building throughout the month.
These are the small stories that make up a life — the hard ones, the hopeful ones, the ones that don't have words yet. This is a place to put them somewhere beautiful.
What to expect
Each session features a different bite-sized creative project — think Heart Stones, creative postcards, collage, and more. Projects are designed to be completed in as little as 5–20 minutes and are completely voluntary.
Your contributions won't disappear. Caitlin will assemble each piece into an additive art installation in the shared spaces at HSC — a growing, visible record of the community showing up for itself.

All are welcome. Come as you are.
