“You too have come into the world to do this, to go easy, to be filled with light, and to shine.” — Mary Oliver

Hi, I’m Becky (she/her). I work with adolescents and adults of all genders. I see therapy as a collaborative and reparative process—one that fosters self-trust, embodied awareness, and meaningful change. My style is warm, strengths-based, and trauma-informed. I draw from experiential approaches like expressive arts, mindfulness, and parts work, alongside tools from CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing.

Before becoming a therapist, I was a teacher, and I’ve always been drawn to the importance of connection, care, and belonging. My own lived experience has shaped the way I hold space for others, deepening my empathy while honoring each person’s unique story. I’m particularly moved by those moments in therapy when someone begins to see that their symptoms aren’t evidence of something wrong, but rather deeply intelligent responses to hard things.

I support clients navigating anxiety, depression, addiction, eating disorders, and the impacts of trauma. My work is grounded in social justice and feminist theory, and I pay close attention to how identity, culture, and environment shape our experiences. I strive to help people find their way back to themselves—and back to their bodies—not as sources of shame, but as vital resources for healing and resilience.

I completed my M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Southern Maine, and I hold a B.A. from Colby College. Outside of work, you’ll often find me near water or in the woods, soaking up the beauty of the natural world no matter what the season. I love music, creativity pursuits, and time in community with people and pets I love.
