Hi, I’m Lauren. I come to Heart Stone with both lived and familial experience that has shaped my deep compassion for people navigating their mental health journeys. I hold close the truth that being human is hard — and that every one of us deserves support along the way. What feels meaningful about this work is knowing I get to be part of a place that shows up for people during both their struggles and their moments of joy.
In my role, I get to help build bridges — connecting clients, clinicians, and community partners with resources and with each other. What I love most is the feeling that we’re all doing this together. There is so much support available in our community, and it’s my hope to make that support easier to find and more accessible to everyone who could benefit from it.
I’m inspired every day by the creativity and care that already exists in our wider community. Helping to cultivate opportunities for belonging — whether through workshops, groups, events, or collaborative partnerships — brings me a great deal of fulfillment. I hope the work I do behind the scenes contributes to a rich and diverse array of offerings at Heart Stone, giving people many different pathways toward healing and wellness.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me in nature — letting the world around me remind me of wonder. I love reading novels that widen my perspective, making art, writing poetry, and keeping a daily ritual of journaling, meditation, and gratitude. I’m also a big fan of bingo nights, comedy shows, bowling, games, and all things playful. Joy, connection, and curiosity guide the way I try to move through the world.
